Price is the widest gap, from $1.99 to $299 for a one-time plan. But the two differences couples feel a year later are what quality the photos come back at and how long the gallery stays online, and those are the two a pricing page is least likely to answer.

Do wedding guests need to download an app?
No. Needing an app is the wrong thing to choose a wedding photo sharing app on. 73 of the 83 live wedding photo sharing services need no app and no account from guests: they scan a QR code and upload from the phone browser. Only 9 need an account, an app install or an App Clip, and 1 does not say. Browser upload is what this category does, not what separates one service from another.
Do you actually get the original photo files back?
File quality is where the field splits, and most vendors never commit. Of the 83 services 6 commit to returning photos uncompressed, 38 say you get the originals without ruling out processing, 12 claim "high quality" while never promising the original file, 4 compress uploads by default, 3 apply a film filter so no untouched file exists at all, and 20 never say either way.
The 6 that commit to it, cheapest first, are Warpbin at $7, whose album stays open only 30 active days; LiveWall at €14.95, whose entry plan is photo-only; QRPict at $29, a promotional rate against a $89 regular price with no free tier; Wedding Arrivals at $49; and two general photo services, Ente, which is subscription-only, and FOREVER at $179.99 for 10 GB.
How long does the album actually last?
Wedding photo sharing albums expire sooner than "keep your memories forever" implies. Of the 50 services that publish a retention window, 24 keep the album under 12 months on the entry plan, and 17 of those 24 keep it three months or less. The other 33 publish no numeric window: 15 state an explicit no-expiry policy and 18 say nothing at all. 5 of the 15 reach no-expiry by writing into the couple's own cloud storage rather than holding the files: EventSnap, GuestsCamera, ShotsCloud, WedUploader and WeddingQR.
There is a smaller trap worth knowing if you book early. On most services the storage period starts running the day you pay, not the day you marry: only 12 of the 83 say it starts at the wedding. Book a venue 14 months out, buy the photo app at the same time, and a "12 month" gallery can be most of the way through its life before the first guest uploads anything.
Four of the 15 no-expiry services take genuinely different routes there, and each asks for something different in return. Knipsmig gives lifetime storage on its $29 plan but never promises uncompressed originals. WeddingSnap states "Lifetime access" at $39 once and also never promises uncompressed originals. Every cell in the tables above was read off the vendor's own pricing page, homepage or FAQ. Where a vendor does not publish a detail, the cell says "Not stated". Where a vendor's pricing table and its FAQ disagree, both readings are recorded in the cell.
Prices are the headline figure in the currency each vendor publishes. Several are promotional rates against a higher regular price, and several vendors run seasonal discounts, so check the vendor's pricing page before you buy. The 94 names break down as 83 live services, 3 shut down (Eversnap in August 2020, The Guest by The Knot, and Ceremony in April 2024), 1 whose site no longer resolves (LivJrny), 3 circulating in assistant answers with no product behind them (Grain, Momentyx and "The Knot Live"), 2 that turned out to be a different category (Momental and Wallat.id), 1 duplicate listing (KnipsGlück is Knipsmig), and 1 physical alternative rather than a service (disposable cameras).
